Attention local artists and crafters: we want you! You are invited to apply for the Fall Craft Fair at the Western Wake Farmers’ Market to showcase your locally hand-crafted arts and crafts.
The Fall Craft Fair will be held on Sat., November 6, from 8 am-1 pm at 1225 Morrisville Carpenter Rd. in Cary, but applications are due by October 15 for consideration. The application includes information on the vending guidelines and fee.
Last year, more than 1,200 shoppers enjoyed a beautiful fall day and all the hand-crafted items, including pottery, jewelry, holiday decor and crafts, gourmet items, photography, baby and kids’ gifts, baskets, paintings and prints, scarves and other fiber and fabric items, and more. Many vendors reported it was one of their best craft fair days of the year!
The Fall Craft Fair will be held in conjunction with the weekly farmers’ market, which is now open all year long on Saturdays and features local seasonal produce, plus hormone-free, grass-fed meats, local seafood, cheese, baked goods, wines, coffee and more. Information on the local food scene and market vendors, plus a free e-newsletter sign-up, is available at the market web site.
