Favorite Fall Events

We enjoy going to the mountains as much as we can.  The most beautiful thing is to see the changing of the leaves and enjoying the cool mountain air.

Going to the zoo on a fall day

Hey Janice, I just took the girls to the NC Zoo - talk about a fabulous fall activity! The weather was wonderful - not too hot - and on a weekday (we're tracked out) there were no crowds at all. We got to see Willie the polar bear before he is relocated for the next two years while they redo his exhibit space at the zoo.  On the way home we stopped for apple picking in Ramseur. The girls couldn't get enough of the apple slushies! Overall, it was a perfect way to start out the fall season :o)
