 The Handmade Parade is a grass roots community participation celebrati
 on. In other words, this is your event!\n\nWhat do we need most? You!\
 n\nThe parade will start at the corner of East Margaret Lane and South
  Churton Street. The parade will continue up Churton Street to the His
 toric Burwell School at the corner of West Union St. and Churton Stree
 t. There will be music, and a grand finale' on the lawn of the Burwell
  School! Food and beverages will also be available\nyour family and fr
 iends, to be a part of this magical handmade parade on the streets of 
 Hillsborough.\n\nWhy a Parade?\n\nWe seek to bring our community toget
 her in a creative, non political way. Our primary goal is to strengthe
 n our community by valuing and celebrating our wonderful diversity.\n\
 nThe purpose of this outreach event is to foster community involvement
  in the arts through participation in every aspect. The informal atmos
 phere and hands-on character of the experience allows members of the c
 ommunity to work directly with artists and each other while gaining co
